We welcome mentors from the community who are willing to share their expertise and help our students expand their practical skills. Some of the robotics teams that are consistently at the top have a ratio of 5 students to 1 mentor/volunteer. We can always use help!
If you are an engineer (software, electrical, mechanical, etc.) you could use your skills to assist with planning, building or programming a robot.
We can use help in all areas of business, including accounting, finance, public relations, marketing, sales, project management, business analysis, grant writing, sponsorship development, fundraising, and any other business skill you can bring to the club.
We appreciate help from mentors who can help guide the kids through a decision making process. Sometimes they just need someone to bounce an idea off of.
